Saigon Equities Forum (SEF) is dedicated to bridging knowledge gaps on the Vietnamese equities market and its role within the global financial system. Based out of Ho Chi Minh City, SEF consists of student researchers affiliated with renowned institutions across the world, united under one common purpose to study, analyse, and promote the Vietnamese financial and geopolitical landscape. Our main objective is to create a platform where ideas on Vietnam’s capital markets can be debated, research is accessible and shared freely, and the next generation of thinkers can engage in reshaping their community.

SEIA Workshop on Accounting at SSIS

This past Monday, our Co-Founder Nam Nguyen had the opportunity of delivering an Accounting Workshop to members of the Business Club at Saigon South International School. During the session, we covered core accounting fundamentals, including the three financial statements, basic ratio analysis, and walked through real examples of our work to demonstrate how to interpret a company’s financial health and performance.
